Claude Guiron is a physician and specialist in internal medicine and cardiology. He is educated at Karolinska Institutet and did his practical service in Norway. He has many years of experience working with research in the pharmaceutical industry, of conducting and communicating the results of clinical studies, including in the areas of asthma/COPD, diabetes, and heart disease. For 6 years, he has been scientific director at Philip Morris International in the Nordics and is responsible for the scientific communication around smoke-free products and the company's goal of one day being able to stop selling cigarettes.
