Arne Holte is Professor Emeritus of Health Psychology at the University of Oslo and former Deputy Chairman of the Norwegian Psychological Association. He is a former Assistant Director, Director of Studies and Division Director for Mental Health at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
He now works mainly on population-targeted strategies to promote mental health and prevent mental disorders in Norway, both locally and nationally.
