Birgitte Ellefsen

Birgitte Ellefsen is an associate professor at the Norwegian Police University College, with a PhD in History from the University of Bergen. Her research is focused on how ideologies and knowledge influence police-reforms, police-education and police-practice. Currently she is investigating the police's use of media for preventative and political purposes, with a special interest for the role of the police in the public debate on drug reform.
