Jørn Kløvfjell Mjelva

Jørn Kløvfjell Mjelva holds a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Oslo, and has worked for the NASDP since 2018. At the NASDP, Jørn has worked on the project Rusopplysningen, and has written several articles on various drugs and drug related topics for the website Rusopplysningen.no. In 2019 and 2020, Jørn co-authored the report “Safer with Knowledge”, aimed at providing decision makers with a firmer evidence base for implementing drug checking services in Norway. Aside from his work at the NASDP, Jørn is also the deputy chairman of Preventio - an umbrella organisation for progressive drug policy organisations in Norway - and leads the organisation Psynapse, which works to ensure recognition of people using psychdelics and MDMA for therapeutic, spiritual or recreational purposes.
